Our rock and bouldering walls were designed following extensive consultation with the Mountaineering Council, a number of guides, instructors and mountain rescue teams. This ensures that whether you are a complete beginner looking to take your first steps on the rock, or a gnarly hard-core climber looking to push your grade, Ice Factor has a range of routes, grades and challenges to suit.
As our walls are open and flooded with natural light to create a great atmosphere.
Our main lead wall is on hydraulics and can be lowered to present a fearsome 6m overhang, ensuring constant variety and difficulty.
The instruction wall features a huge variety of climbs featuring slabs, corners, lay-back cracks, overhangs and multi-pitch training stances - perfect for young climbers or beginners.
Our bouldering wall has been described by Dave MacLeod - recognised as one of the world’s top climbers -as "The best bouldering wall in the UK".
