The Ice Factor Bothan Bar-Bistro

A traditional Bothan is a refuge and place of shelter in the mountains. This area is wonderfully relaxing and inviting. Scottish Oak Floors, Ballachulish Slate, feature bar and wood burning stove with an array of climbing accoutrements, prints and paintings on display. There is a viewing gallery allowing you to look straight into the main climbing arena.

Sticking with our ethos for the cafe, we source all produce from the Highlands of Scotland and aim for organic produce from genuine local suppliers throughout.

All dishes are freshly prepared by our chefs, with an extensive menu that constantly changes according to the seasonal produce.

We pride ourselves on offering a really different menu with much better quality food than standard pub fayre. We hope you will enjoy the difference.

There is an extensive range of malt whiskey and ales from the Highlands and Islands, with regular live music every Thur/Sat night.

The Bothan Bar-Bistro operates a full menu till 9pm and a reduced menu till closing time. If you are late off the hill - call us, we’ll always try to ensure you get something warm and satisfying.
